Apple Pie 6-8 tart apples, cored and thinly sliced 3/4 - 1 cup sugar 2 tablespoons all purpose flour 1/2-1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 2 tablespoons butter 2 pie crusts Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Combine sugar, flour and cinnamon in a bowl.Add apple slices and mix well Place a pie crust in a pie tin and fill with apple mixture.Dot with butter. Place second crust on top.Crimp along edges. Take a knife and cut slits into top pastry for steam to escape Bake for 50 minutes or until crust is brown.
