Bread Stuffing 8 T butter 1 large onion, chopped 3 medium celery ribs with leaves, chopped 1 lb white bread, dried overnight and cubed 1/4 C chopped fresh parsley 3 C Turkey stock or chicken broth 2 t. poultry seasoning 1 t. sage In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the onion and celery. Cook, stirring often until the onion is golden, about 10 minutes. Scarpe into a large bowl. Add the bread and parsley. Stir in enough stock to moisten the stuffing, about 2 1/2 C. Add the seasonings and salt and pepper, if desired. Use to stuff turkey or cook as a side dish in a buttered pan and bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes or until heated through.
